Spent about a month on this one, about the same as 17. Although I still think map 17 is harder, the size of this map simply makes a screw-up more likely. I wasted a bit of time towards the end and used up too many of my cells and rockets. I now think you should save up a minimum of 25 rockets during the pinky swarm, for the rest use your SSG, including the manc (the one in the corner at the teleporter, before you enter the red gate); don't use your plasma gun on the arachnotrons, and perhaps also use your chaingun on at least a few of the window imps. Sometimes, chaingunning pinkies are easier than SSGing them, depending on the situation (e.g. the second one I killed inside the factory building).

Using the same strategy I think round about 7:10 is optimal. However it's a relatively big map for this megawad so there will probably be a few more tricks to speed it up.
