Send this to anyone trying to tell you that DOOM: The Dark Ages is faster than DOOM Eternal, it is not, not even when TDA is at 150% speed, it ain't just about the actions per second, the movement options for the Slayer, the aggressiveness of enemies (why the f**k do TDA enemies often have boundaries within arenas where they will not seek you out and instead wait for you to come to them?), how many things you do and manage all at the same time, there is a clear difference, mind the fact I also got mods to let me do things to go a little quicker such as Boosting with the BFC, Omni-Sprint, Grenade Jump and all that, TDA is STILL not a faster game than normal Vanilla DOOM Eternal when it's played very well.
The only times TDA is faster than Eternal is in the beginning of both games before you get Dash, Meathook, and Ballista, and if the person playing is average or below average as playing Eternal at the full speed requires practice, whereas TDA is pretty much turn on auto-sprint, move, and shoot.
