166Comparison of the Walking/Running Movement Speed of DOOM 2016, DOOM Eternal, and DOOM: The Dark Ages (including TDA Sprinting).
I always wondered if 2016's move speed was faster than Eternal's, now that The Dark Ages is out, I figured it'd be good to compare the three.
The test was to find an area of a level with a straight line that was at least 99 meters long and see how long each game would take to get to 49 meters (So a 50 meter run).
This test assumes 50 meters in all 3 games are at or about the same, especially considering the similarities and leftovers that iD Tech 6, 7, and 8 have in all 3 DOOM Games.
All four clips were recorded with the fps locked to 60 fps for consistency's sake (but also because The Dark Ages performance suck).
