This could have gone better. In fact, this went pretty terribly.

I wanted to save that initial Green Armour until the end. I was going to try and leave that Soulsphere too (probably a good thing I didn't get to do so, looking back), but it's in such an awkward place that picking it up is inevitable. Same goes for that second Green Armour, which was just a total fucking waste.

I wish authors wouldn't do that. Putting 'unavoidable items' like Armour and Soulspheres in a map is just a very bad piece of design.

(Those piddly little 1% Bonuses though? Fine, they're rarely wasted on pickup, no matter where they're put -- unless you put 200 of them down in one space or something stupid like that.)
