0https://www.doomworld.com/idgames/levels/doom2/Ports/d-f/epic Now, Kids and Adults and all alike it's time to tackle a wad that I've always played with mods or vanilla style, Its only 5 maps in length however a big name mapper made this one, None other then Alexander S. Aka Eternal, One of the Doomworld's Cacoawards highest winners, Epic, Which released on October 10th 2007 was one of the winners of the 2007 Cacoawards.
Everything about "Epic" is truly incredible:A custom DeHackED patch adds new versions of monsters including the "Candy Chocolate" like Imps from Eternal Doom, Eternal's maps are stunning for their detail and attention to detail, In addition Eternal also puts a massive amount of work into his secrets so you need to hunt well to locate them, A big plus for the 90's shooter player in me is two of the maps use Duke 3d music and "Helltrain" is another example of a moving train which gives me flashbacks of Enjay's "Runaway Train", Epic has a sort of anti-climatic circle strafe battle in it's last map:The Citadel but it's one of the most impressive wads I've played and Eternal deserved the Cacoaward well for Epic.
