https://www.doomworld.com/idgames/levels/doom2/m-o/mtfactor Nostalgia can be my weak point but you know what? I'm sure that there's others out there like me that can't help but go back to earlier years to relive memories. The top 100 wads of all time has served as a major inspiration for this series along with the cacoawards, and I'm covering a few of them for this season. This is the first wad personality selected for Season #14 as well.

Authored by Grzegroz Werner and released on April 17th 1996, A Hidden Mountain Factory is a single level PWAD that takes us into a mountain which uses Doom Episode 3 and 4 textures and it was a major nostalgia trip. The factory itself is deep within the mountain and its dark caves, first wad here of the season I had to change GZDoom's render settings to software so I could see.

The map has a crowd of monsters but not overwhelming, it also features some trickery that makes the factory seem like its running on its own which back in 1996 I'm sure was very awe inspiring, Lots of ammo and cover give it a lot easier time then other 1996 wads despite a few points I nearly jumped hearing a monster closet open up. A very solid 1996 wad and like Hell's Eventide a year later, a hidden gem all around.
