2https://static.angryscience.net/pub/doom/mods/psychic/xa-psych_1.0.0.zip And speaking of legends in the Doom community, XaSeR Acheron has been a modder and mapper I've been watching since I began to use source ports as a teen and my first experience was with this mod, I had followed it for the long time and wasn't sure it was going to be leaving beta status but seeing it v1.0 led me to decide on it as the 8th mod personally selected for this season because Psychic is a special mod to me.
Going back to 2009, Psychic is a weapons mod that changes the gameplay where you can use psychic attacks to throw projectiles while firing your weapons and I'm glad XaSeR offers a auto fire option because trying to combo manual fire and the alternative psychic attack on mouse2 was a constant stress point. The fact it got a mention as a "missed cacoaward" out of 25 wads/mods tells me how important it is.
I didn't show the buy menu as I didn't find it much use, Our pistols are powerful enough and the addition of the other weapons like shotguns and bfg9000 replacement while using psychic attacks really can help in harder wads, I recommend this mod to anyone who wants to see something unique from XaSeR.
