I've been doing a lot of going through 1990's wads lately to find hidden gems and some material for The Rejected. Sometimes I haven't decided fully and select at random, This was originally in The Rejected file but a playthrough changed my mind.
Released on May 25th 1996 by Adelusion (Anthony Czerwonka) and Fingers (Likka Keranen) Dystopia 3 Re-Birth of Anarchy is a 11 map wad for Doom II, It was honored as one of the top 100 wads of all time for 1996 and is among the earliest wads made by players to showcase engine tricks including fake 3d bridges and deep water. Its mapping is decent though there are some choices that are confusing, ammo's tight so chainsaw and punches are must against mid tier enemies. I find this wad another example of a hidden gem for others to enjoy.
