There's not been many wads that give the due to Thy Flesh Consumed but the ones I have gone over and ones I will show that Ultimate Doom may be seen as a cheap upgrade, still has fans.
An replacement for Thy Flesh Consumed, Ultimate Doom The Way I.D. Did was released on February 16th 2019 by a team consisting of Alfonso, Tarnsman, XaSeR Acheron, Use3D, RottKing, Pavera, Purist, Gifty, and Marcaek all charged with making 9 maps that follow the designs of Dr. Sleep, Tim Willis, John Romero, Sandy Peterson, American McGee, and Shawn Green.
Just like Thy Flesh Consumed, Each level in this wad is inspired by bible verses and is tough as nails: This wad hits even harder then the Episode it's inspired by, and things go off the wall insane real fast by E4M3, ammo balance is along the lines of Thy Flesh Consumed but with a twist out of Scythe where its a ammo puzzle. Quite a impressive project here, to give the love to Episode 4.
