Speedmaps are something I'll always be neutral towards with me trying them out to see how they are. I've known of various speedmapping projects and of them, Abysmal Speedmapping and Puss or Pineapple Under The Sea have stood out.
This 5 episode megawad is the 13th entry in BluePinapple72's Puss Speedmapping series and was released in 2022 on June 26th with Death Bear leading this project. All of the maps of Th1rt3en are based on a episodic theme and have various degrees of difficulty which go between Doom II, Plutonia Experiment, Scythe II and even Hell Revealed in terms of monsters and design.
One thing Th1rt3en does that really stands out is its placement of deaf monsters that set up traps like I've seen in Dance on the Water, and Darkest Room, These are the nastiest Boom traps that you can experience and being trapped in small spaces surrounded will make you panic at first but, I love this wad, It's a fascinating demonstration of Speedmapping running perfectly together.
