Authored by T.Will, and released on August 29th 2021, Soaked in Blood is a Episode 1 replacement inspired by Doom The Way I.D. Did, and also has a quirk where it seems to be Scythe inspired as well where it gradually increases in difficulty. Story itself is a continuation following the events of Doom II.
Soaked in Blood showcases T.Will's attention to keeping to the John Romero formula that Knee-Deep in the Dead in famous for but also, like Dawn of the Dead, giving his own twist on the made in stone forumla. There's parts that will get you at first as this is a modern episode replacement so you expect to deal with the punches that you may not expect at first.
