So I speak now of a Cacoward runner up of 2020 that comes from one of the members of the [BOS] Clan who was behind developement with other clan members in working on Da Will, A.L.T., Heroes' Tale, Alpha Accident: Terra Nova and other files. I'm speaking of Eugene Guschin (Wrath777).
Gods & Guardians is a 7 level pwad going back to April 2018, It doesn't have a story but is rather Wraith777's take on trying to add two maps that were rejected from Doom II The Way I.D. Did, and thus gave this wad a new coat of paint with the two rejected maps.
Don't enter Gods & Guardians thinking its a simple run, Wraith777 places their ammo and their monsters in contrasting ways reflecting upon the Russian Doom communitys penchance for ammo puzzles and light slaughter, This won't become apparent until you hit map04, In addition the music of Gods & Guardians gives the action a feel unique to the wad.
[[A reject from Season 12, I was putting this one off as I was having issues getting through this wad and was considering doing it later. But this never came around until The Rejected. Now though, I believe its runner up status was well earned]]
