https://www.doomworld.com/idgames/levels/doom/j-l/jail Commencing again, the attack of the 1990's, a time when we had various games on carts, we wore the cool kid clothes and Doom mapping, while slow at the beginning took off and never looked back. This is another rejected file from the cancelled "Bad Wads" Special and then from Season 6, and I know that mapping is not easy and takes time, but this one is.. as bare bones as you can get.

Released on June 25th 1997, Jail Escape is by Jay McKoon, Its story stated we've been thrown in jail by the demons and its time to escape though thats suspect at least. I know the term "1994 wad" as a explanation to wads that have very poor polish to them but this, a 1997 wad is rough with a lot of grey walls and not much else tbh, I did a few runs to show the difficulty change though this wad isn't exactly a everyday play.

[[Just like with Hidden Gems, I had planned Bad Wads but it was cancelled in favor of The Rejected, and this wad was cut from Season 4 as well. I get that many despise the Doom level CD-Roms due to the quality of the wads on there but my fascination comes from the fact that even today these levels look horrible but are worth covering to show the evolution of mapping in Doom]]
