We caught up with Doug Cockle at the 2016 Golden Joystick Awards, where he was picking up a Golden Joystick award for Best Performance. The voice of Geralt was only too happy to answer interview questions posed by members of /r/witcher, the Witcher subreddit.
Doug Cockle has voiced Geralt of Rivia since the first Witcher game, and has lent his acting talents to plenty of other projects. Unfortunately for us, on the night our camera's soundcard malfunctioned and the interview audio we captured was unusable. We didn't want to end it there though, so we asked Doug if he'd mind re-answering Reddit's interview questions over Skype.
