5A battle against Shades and zombies taking place right after the party survived an onslaught of undead outside Redcliffe Castle.
Combat is quickly getting a bit more challenging, and it goes without saying that the more spells and feats you get the more fun it is to experiment with different tactics and approaches - especially during the many battle scenarios in which the party is heavily outnumbered.
Having more party members to choose from than there are available slots (6 characters instead of 4 would have been greatly appreciated, by the way) makes for some interesting choices, and personally I tend to let Leliana, Alistair and Sten accompany my mage MC. Sten and Alistair are two hard-hitting frontline fighters (and quite diverse as well since I spend their level up points on different combat skills) and Leliana provides long-range support while my mage buffs, heals and uses nasty area of effect spells.
Also, I'm slowly beginning to appreciate the nuances of the game world, and was pleased to discover that the party banter and party member dialogue is a lot less tedious to listen to than the story exposition stuff. It's still nowhere near as naturalistic, well-written and efficiently presented as in, say, a game like Uncharted 2, but at least it brings that much-needed human touch to the Dragon Age experience.
