We are currently in the postgame. Previously, the party revisited Pucharao Village. They saved the town from dancing to the Evil Hustle Gramps's tune. Now, they will return to Kreimoran, where a few events are available.
The party zooms to Kreimoran Castle Town (time 1:04).
Outside the church, a nun has some story information (time 3:27). She speaks of the Viking Hideout nearby.
The party enters Kreimoran Castle (time 3:54). In the east, they ride the elevator down to the basement (time 4:19).
In the southern room of the basement, there is a shrine secured by an Ultimate Key door (time 4:47). There are two chests inside. One contains a book of "royal" recipes: Royal Charm and Royal Badge. The other contains a Chronocrystal.
Back upstairs, the party finds Eckehart, the scholar, in the entrance hall (time 5:49). He speaks of the Mumbaba in the Shikesubia Snowfields. The party can tame it if Davilas defeats it using a lightning-elemental spell: Zap, Kazap, or Kazapple. All are learned on the Hero section of his Skill Panel.
In the throne room, the party talks to the queen's new advisor, Lizelett (time 6:43). She speaks of a monster called the Gigademon in Samadii. Something we may have to deal with eventually.
Then, they talk to Queen Sharla (time 7:28). She speaks of the evil wyrm Nedora, which has been freed from the ice in the southeast of the Shikesubia Snowfields. The party agrees to go take care of this monster.
The party zooms to the Viking Hideout northwest of Kreimoran Castle Town (time 8:21).
North of the hideout, they enter the room where Camus left his sister (time 11:11). Camus opens the door and relates what happened to his sister five years ago. Maya, still gilded, is within. Davilas agrees to use the power of the Hero's Sword to help her. It releases the necklace from her. When the light clears, Maya is back to normal!
After the scene, the party talks to Maya again (time 14:50). She hands over the Pirate King's Necklace. This Camus-exclusive accessory appears to increase drop rates.
The party zooms to the Shikesubia Snowfields (time 17:19). They summon the horse and ride north.
They exit to Mirurean Forest (time 18:37). They trek north through this chilling area.
In the north, it is a good idea to save at the convenient Goddess statue (time 22:16).
Before proceeding to the battle, Davilas goes to the Skill Panel and spends 8 points to re-learn "Dain", or Zap (time 22:44). He reveals his middle Hero ability, which activates his Zone.
At the northern end, the party finds the Mumbaba wandering around (time 23:23). It has that Evil gleam in its eyes.
Then, it is boss time against the Evil Mumbaba (time 23:46). This boss is quite tough. It can attack three times in a turn. Its snowball attack dispels the target's buffs and induces weakness to ice. Its kick attack deals a ton of damage. It is even worse when Mumbaba uses Oomph. Most annoyingly, it uses Kasnooze like it's going out of style.
This is one battle you want to have Yggdrasil Leaves for. If you have Wakerobins, bring them. Mumbaba itself is susceptible to sleep, so you might want to try Kasnooze on it. Omniheal might be useful for staying healed if the party has it. Despite Mumbaba's frequent snowballs, try to keep defensive buffs up. When Mumbaba gets down in the red, begin nuking him with a spell in Davilas's Zap line. Gigaslash will not work.
Eventually, the party fells the Evil Mumbaba (time 36:16). It yields 12,000 experience points and 3,000 Gold. Seems a bit paltry to me. Camus reaches Level 57. He gains 6 skill points for a total of 7. Veronica reaches Level 58. She gains 12 skill points for a total of 20. Under her Spellcraft skill, Veronica spends 14 points on a boost of 20 to Magic Attack.
With this, the Mumbaba is freed from Nizuzerufa's influence (time 37:17). It will wait there until the party needs its help.
The party zooms off to camp to rest (time 40:17). Next time, they will work to restore Ishi Village.
Thanks for watching!
