DW FE - Stage 5 (Chaos)
10We're back on the map of the first stage again, but with more and stronger enemies to deal with. Yoshiaki joins us and we can recruit Kunoichi and Black Dian Wei.
Yoshiaki is a Red Mage, a class that can use both sword and magic but excels at neither. As a result he'll never be a spectacular damage dealer but he can heal and hit whatever the enemy is weakest to, so he has a lot a utility.
Kunoichi is a thief, which automatically makes her invaluable for unlocking chests and stealing from enemies. Otherwise, her combat potential is pretty weak unless you decide to make her an Assassin when she can promote.
Black Dian Wei is a solid character all around, with surprisingly high Speed and Skill for an axe user, allowing him to dish out tons of damage and being sturdy enough he can take it too. Magic is a major weakness to him but otherwise he'll shine in pretty much every playthrough, though his Speed growth is bad so he'll start to fall off and double less and less as the game goes on, making him more average.
There's also a shop here that sells cactus weapons of all kinds, it's recommended you buy them all since they'll help you through the rest of the game up until you use them up, by that point you should then have better options you can purchase.
The boss for this is Gorg again, who now will move once an enemy is in range and has deadlier weapons. You can lure him to the bridge to bottleneck him, but then he'll be blocking the path to the last chest on the map, so if you want it, you'll have to go around him and take him on in an open field.
Yoshiaki - Your 2nd healer, but with a twist. Yoshiaki is a Red Mage, he can use Swords, Magic and Staffs. He is extremely versatile but he is a wildcard. His effectiveness in combat is all dependant on how lucky you are with his growths. His growths are average all around, so he can either be very strong, or underwhelming, but because of his versatility such as being able to exploit weaknesses with his magic and ability to heal, he is a valuable member.
Kunoichi - Your main and only thief. She starts weak, but fast, and has the ability to use knives which lets her attack at ranged, at the cost of them being WEAK. She can be a bit difficult to level but it's worth it in the long run. Plenty of enemies will have items you can steal from, so even if you don't want to use her as a combatant she's still useful for stealing items and saving you from using your keys. She will always be very weak defensively, but she is one of the fastest characters in the game so as long as you aren't up against a super accurate enemy she should be able to dodge.
Black Dian Wei - He is your axe user, and a damn good one at that. He has high base skill and speed for his class, making him very reliable, but don't expect them to stay high for long. Speed is his greatest flaw, but his high build and base in it can last for a good while. He has low Resistance too, but he has extremely high HP so he can tank a good deal of hits, just don't rely on him to tank too much since a sly critical can still seriously hurt him. He is worth using in the long run, and he is one of the best characters to use stat boosters on, just always keep in mind in late game his low speed can seriously hamper him.
SUB BOSS Pat - Pat is back, and he is blocking you from getting to Gorg. Nothing much to this fight, just handle him like a regular enemy. He has high HP still, but he comes with an Halberd which can seriously hurt Masayuki, so be careful if you want to weaken him with Masayuki.
BOSS Gorg - Gorg is of course also back and he comes with a ranged weapon, and he will move this time when you are in range, regardless of difficulty. He has received a high stat boost, so he will put up much more of a fight this time. You will want to defeat him in one go as he is too dangerous to be left in range of your weaker party members. If you can't, surround him with everyone who can survive a hit from him. Failing THAT, Masayuki can easily crush him, just make sure he is healed if you had him fight Pat earlier. Again, he will not harm Gracia, but he will retaliate if you have Gracia attack him with the light tome you got earlier.
