It's Ketsui, one of the toughest shmup around due to its orthodox yet unorthodox design. And historically speaking, it's the 1st "full" port of Ketsui, so until the Xbox 360 port there were no other way to enjoy all 5 stages of Ketsui for years. I heard it's because PS2's specs couldn't do it justice.
So, Ketsui. You can shoot and bomb then the focus shot. Really, compared to CAVE's previous releases before Ketsui it looks very normal, harken back to the Toaplan shmups. The beast is its stage design. One of the most important aspect to know to survive Ketsui is how its shot works. In a nutshell, this is a vertical Progear.
You see, when you use your focus shot the options will lock on to the target that gets hit by your main shot. Move around and until the target is gone it will keep aiming there. Also the options will widen up. It's an important technique to use against some bosses later.
While some aspects of its stage design got cut down and for the Normal mode the game became easier, it still retains the important moments that are important to learn for the arcade version, notably the extends.
So, while M2 haven't ported the Deathtiny port to the Switch, this version will serve well despite the downgrade.
