Both Railcannon and Rocket Pods are good for supporting team mates being chased by a heavies. The precision of both makes them fairly safe to throw nearby other helldivers, compared to most other Eagle stratagems. Other Eagle Stratagems may do a better job of eliminating enemies, but are much more dangerous to fellow helldivers. The railcannon does 10K damage, whereas the Rocket Pods do about 4800, but only 3600 to armour 4 and above.
