Easy Quick And Dirty Windows 10 Simple File And Printer Sharing
33Windows 10 used to have a decent file sharing and home networking feature that was baked right in called Homegroups.
This was a really nice and easy to use feature that allowed most users to setup basic file and printer sharing without having to call in the professionals!
After the arrival of Windows 10 1809 this was taken away and the less helpful Network and sharing centre was the easiest way of setting up shares and printing.
So now you might need an extra helping hand to get your file shares working. I'll be showing you some tips and techniques to get the file shares working and how to enable the services that my have been stopped or disabled during the Windows updates.
DISCLAIMER
I am not saying this method is for everyone. This is a quick dirty way of getting shares to work on a PRIVATE internal network where you have users you trust. This setup should not be used in a business environment unless you really have to.
