This basics video tutorial shows you an easy way how to make a racing game with 8 lines of code in GameMaker Studio.

The idea behind this is quite simple. Update the direction by pressing left or right on the keyboard to steer the movement of the racing car. Additionally press an extra button to give the racing car speed when pressed. And that is pretty much it.
