Enemy Front is an endearingly well-intentioned budget shooter which is surprisingly nice to look at (on PC, anyway) and could have been really interesting - if only the stealth mechanics had been better implemented. The developers clearly wanted to create many opportunities to sneak around undetected in EF's fairly open-ended levels, but the enemies are just too good at spotting the player character. Also, a rigid checkpoint-based save system forces you to either settle for straightforward FPS action after every stealth failure or restart the whole section and lose big chunks of progress (at least when playing on the harder difficulty settings).
