Epic Launch "Unreal" Game Store : Steam Has Some Competition!
451Epic games have just announced they are launching an online game store to compete with the likes of Steam and GoG. With a couple major twists.
First, its on an unheard of 88/12 royalty split.
Second, it's open to all game engines, but if you use Unreal engine, they pay the royalties!
Third, they are offering an affiliate program to influencers to drive sales to their store
Fourth, they are curating the contents of the store, at least initially.
