Here we have an early copy of a game coming out later this week. It is an RPGmaker type game, and built using the same engine as Artifact Adventure and a couple other games I already have on the channel. The overall tone here seems to be considerably lighter hearted as it definitely does not take itself seriously, from the quips of the characters about their situations, to the references to inconsistencies in other RPGs. I figured this might be a nice change of pace from some of the other games recently on the channel.

As for the game itself, it uses a similar battle system that will be found in the upcoming game, Unraveled. I don't know if this battle system is used in every game by these developers, but for those two games it seems they are. To explain, you get up to 3 stars as a rating based on how fast you beat the enemy, how little damage you take, and I think you get the final star from just finishing the fight. What you actually get for the stars is unknown to me at the time, but I figured that I could probably get as many in the first chapter since it will only get harder from here.

Sadly, I did want to do a boss fight in this video, but I didn't see any, making me think we'll have to wait until the next video for our first boss. Still, you get to see a few of the game's systems and have a clue as to what will be coming up.
