With the clue Flowey dropped at the end of the previous video, it was time for us to go back and see if we could indeed be better friends with Alphys. Ultimately, this does result in another date scenario and you can see that it is somewhat less painful that Papyrus's, but it is still kind of rough.

Once you are friends with Alphys (this requires being friends with Papyrus and Undyne), you can go into the rough where she locked herself away earlier and discover the hidden dungeon of the game. Our objective here is to find out what happened, which involves getting the 4 keys to activate backup power, all while doing everything I can to not hurt the remnants. Once you're friends with Alphys, the entire ending sequence will change considerably, and you can see the events here unfold.

And with this video, we have completed our run without killing anyone. After reviewing some of the games that have come out this year, this one is looking more and more to be my pick for Game of the Year. My only problem with the game came down to boss fights being a little long for how repetitive they were (Flowey fights excepted, of course). Everything else was pretty good, and far better than even your average RPGmaker game.

As for where we go from here, next week I may start the Genocide run, where you destroy anyone and everyone in your way to freedom. The only thing I don't like about this mode is that you have to go through a LOT of random encounters to achieve the genocide (you literally have to kill everything). It takes a lot of time, which I am still somewhat pressed for until tomorrow. So on Monday, don't be surprised if the rivers run red with blood.
