Undertale - Part 8 The Show Must Go On!
10Mettaton has been bothering us for awhile and now is our chance to finally settle the score with him. Before going down, Mettaton says some pretty interesting things about Alphys, which we're going to have to verify in the next video (maybe).
As for Mettaton's final battle, I still don't quite get the point of the ratings just yet. I tried looking into things and it seems like the ratings are what's important for getting the non-violent win over Mettaton, so the Glamburger and various poses work wonders. You can use the other two options as well to generate ratings through not taking damage or taking damage. Overall, I opted to play it safe (somewhat) and just pose on low to moderate health for bigger boosts.
In the next video, we'll fight the King and you can see the ending. To be honest, I'm kind of glad I got rid of the instant noodles here since that item definitely kills the flow of battle. Had I been able to lose ratings during that, it would have set me back quite a few turns.
