Etrian Odyssey HD Boss 11: Alraune (Superboss)

The wiki classifies her as a superboss and you know what? I'm inclined to agree because she's arguably the most powerful opponent you can face before the credits role. Fire off she has HOW MUCH HP?!?!?!?!? 16000 HP in total, That's double what the Wyvern had and for the record she takes 99% reduced damage from both Ice and Lightning as well as resisting every status effect and bind in this game.
Otherwise she has 5 major attacks to keep track of, her vine flail which does physical damage a random number of times to random party members, Vampyric kiss which deals 200+ damage and heals her for however much she deals, because 16000 HP just wasn't enough, Flame which is just ironic because the best spell to use against her, frost smile which deals ice damage to the whole party and can inflict status effects like sleep (and maybe terror), and then there's lightning which hits the whole part for 150ish damage while also having a high chance to bind multiple limbs.
I'm gonna be honest this fight is one of the toughest in the game and she doesn't even give any experience for winning. However completing her quest rewards 5000 ental and the royal vine which creates one of the games ultimate weapons... unfortunately I prefer Joker with a sword because his drain skill is so strong he's basically invincible.
Overall she's the magic, and female, counterpart to the final boss of the game so if you can beat her you're more than ready for the endgame.
