Etrian Odyssey HD Final Boss and Ending

So this boss is hard... except when he isn't. It's kind of a physical counterpart of Alraune with the same "weakness" against fire heck he even has the exact same attack and defense stats. The boss has quite a few dangerous skills to be aware of. Twigs is a passive skill with a chance of negating physical attacks, thankfully the chance is fairly low so it's not gonna happen all the time. Then there's Resolve which will remove your entire party's buffs, Growth which is a buff he can use on himself to recover 900 HP every turn, Inferno which has imperfect accuracy but is basically a one shot on one character, and thorns which does over 300 damage to every party member, straight up one shotting Ringo if she doesn't defend. However what keeps this fight from being too hard is he's very easy to loop, if you throw up a buff on the party he will spend one turn either using a basic attack or guarding then the next turn he will use resolve, then he'll use thorn strike. If you healer has over 350 HP you can get him into this loop and there's a 90% chance he'll stay stuck in it until he dies. However you still have to respect the absurd damage of thorns and the fact that he has 18000 HP so the fight is gonna take a long while no matter what. But once you win enjoy the ending it's quite the nice one even if simple.
