TL;DR - half an hour of jibber jabber.

i don't go into what i think of the new nerfs to upwells & roids are specifically, because i really don't care much about either. always thought the invulnerability of upwell assets vs the fragility of clones to be silly, plus who would have thunk that ccp would allow arkanor/spodumain to be mined in high sec. ridiculous concepts both.
i talk a bit of the impact of the surgical strike buff to ganks but not directly.

this is mostly how i'm adapting to life in eve and any short to long term plans i have.

[edit: june7th - whipped up a timestamp list while i listened to my old blog in order to make a 'whats new' video blog]

[00:00] i begin with rat aggro vs drones
[02:00] wow, i was sure naive about ore regeneration as i began to test things (lots of red herrings based on partial information)
[02:15] dense veldspar focus in high sec, plus talking about the late 2019 nerf to asteroid belts
[03:20] tangent about me hating on multiboxing orcas
[03:45] 1 heavy drone, plus 3 light drones and 1 salvage drone strategy.
[05:20] still using macks but planning on shifting to skiffs and my thoughts about this change
[06:36] another mini hate on multiboxing orcas
[07:00] assembling the drones you want to launch, only. plus checking if hotkey for launch works okay for this mixed type launch
[08:30] digression about MTU
[08:50] back to dense veldspar and the cute optimism about ore regeneration (which is correct about high sec but still wow i was so happy. lol. fool!)
[09:03] the macrokey i was using for 'delayed' command burst/hardener activation is mentioned (although in hindsight - days later - it was causing more problems than it solved), plus talking math which i suck at about capacitor regeneration.
[10:30] my to-do list.
1) ore regeneration - my current view on this (wow i was interpreting the data wrong)
2) testing which is the best place to build my fuel blocks (haha i was so positive upwells would do a better job. haha. fool!)
3) skins. splitting up the different colors between my 6 mains
[14:00] talking about the grind to upgrade my mining expedition mining sites (i'd gotten to major but have yet to find one...it would take me a while), and jibber jabber about that
[15:10] then i start talking about new p.i. colonies i'm planning (where and who and what)
[15:45] then talking about abyssal gila passive tank fit, and nirvana implants (doubting the active tanks people suggest)
[16:06] stocking up cheap DPS and ECM ships at my various a
[16:25] back to p.i. quickly (planetology skill guesses about its utility)
[17:10] wanting to test ganking a mack with 2 catalysts on sisi
[17:30] then talking about testing audio and graphics settings (especially for fireworks which i get to soon after this video)
[18:18] just random yappy stuff. zzz.
[19:30] getting to the meat of my capacitor regeneration test (and whether a delayed macrokey use is even worth the bother) "too clever by half"
[22:40] then mentioned upwell clone services i have plus a backup to clone services...prophetic seeing as how a month later Jita Holding Inc. began swinging their epeen around my area.
[25:00] back to capacitor regeneration.
[26:00] far future plans - maybe plunk down a new astrahus, even two maybe to get a finger on the pulse of the area by monitoring mikhir & toshabia gates, plus talking about my current FOB bashing career (cash cow)
[27:50] last thing i mention is how i have my "health indicator" configuration set up.
