When tracking down the running knight, stand just left of center so he commits to the right when he gets to the middle of the stairway. Then you can meet him right next to the screen transition. When you get to the last knight on the spiraling stairs, talk to him from the right since he has to catch his breath.

When you get into the engine room, turn the wheel in each direction once, as a chest will drop in both instances. Optimize Zidane to give him the Mage Masher before leaving the room to set up for the next fight with Steiner.

With the Mage Masher, only two attacks will end the fight, but you also need to steal the Silk Shirt for the fight with Plant Brain. Luckily, you have two other thieves with you but it's no guarantee since the Silk Shirt is in the uncommon slot and you need to win two RNG rolls to get it.

For the 2nd and 3rd fight with Steiner on the stage, everyone except Garnet needs to KO themselves immediately to end the fight. Luckily, my starting ATBs on Steiner 2 were excellent and the enemy did not get to act so that saved some seconds, and I need to save as much time as possible early on!

After the bomb grows a 3rd time in the last fight, 3 more quick FMVs to skip and an ATE before saving.
