The guys behind Flight Unlimited II apparently had access to the very source code of this masterpiece (the original Flight Unlimited), yet they decided not to bother with it because it was "all black box spaghetti code from Seamus". Can you believe that? It would be freaking worth it even if it was in the darned Assembly language... This is pure comedy and tragedy at the same time. People were ok settling with what we have for "simulators" these days, easily discarding this monumental work of someone who went on becoming one of the silly XBox creators... Microsoft, were you out of your mind? Who cares about a yet another "console" when you had THIS on your hands, but you successfully blew this chance... And now you are having Asobo making a "revolutionary sim" for you... Is that some kind of a sadistic joke???
But people... "Flight simmers"... The proud community. What were you thinking while letting this chance slip by?
