Back to the basement I went...and there was a very dirty 1541-II, and I rescued a couple of suitable power supplies from a box that had suffered water damage...and I started to test things, including some other C64 power supplies...and then the drive...with both power supplies...and well, then it got interesting, surprising, and intriguing!
