Saturday at Silverstone is over and yes Max Verstappen is on pole position but behind him is one of the biggest shocks of the year as Mclaren are 2nd and 3rd on the grid as Lando Norris and Oscar Piastri put in a brilliant performance but what does this mean are Mclaren really in the fight for a podium well lets take a look at the data from a hectic qualifying session. Williams also had a great day with Alex Albon once again getting into Q3 and Ferrari are looking strong but Charles Leclerc and Carlos Sainz are slowly starting a civil war at the Red team. Can Mercedes fight back after a difficult Friday, Lewis Hamilton and George Russell are definitely looking a little better but the threat from Ferrari is rising for the Silver Arrow.
