The Spanish Grand Prix is over and in terms on on track racing this was the most chaotic race of the year with more on track overtakes than at any race so far this year but yet the final result was still the same. Max Verstappen in the Red Bull absolutely dominated the grand prix but behind him it was chaos, Mercedes are finally back as their new upgrades worked perfectly and Lewis Hamilton and George Russell were rewarded with both drivers finishing on the podium.
For Ferrari however the race was very difficult as Charles Leclerc was massively lacking confidence and Carlos Sainz was struggling with race pace. Also Aston Martin were struggling with race pace as they had their most difficult race of the year as Fernando Alonso and Lance Stroll really struggled. Pirelli brought the right tyres and because of that we saw 2 stop strategies with a large variance in 2 stops with plenty of overtakes.
