After a crazy day of practice with rain, a cancelled session and multiple mechanical issues we are now moving onto Saturday and Qualifying day but what did we learn in practice. Well that is what we are going to be looking at today as we review a day of interrupted sessions as Lewis Hamilton in the Mercedes was fastest from George Russell in P2, but where was Max Verstappen in the Red Bull or Fernando Alonso in the Aston Martin. Well we are going to look at all of that and understand why they were not at the front.
We are also going to look at Ferrari as they had a decent day and are looking to bounce back from a tricky Spanish GP. Can Charles Leclerc or Carlos Sainz score a podium on Sunday, I do think it may be possible.
Finally what is going on in the mid field, Alpine are struggling with reliability but Alfa Romeo are looking strong, is that just a Friday thing or can Bottas really score points?
