Friday is over and to no one's surprise it is a Red Bull and more specifically Max Verstappen who ended the day as fastest. But despite that a lot happened and the day was filled with incidents as Nico Hulkenberg, Alex Albon & Carlos Sainz all crashed out and drivers such as Lance Stroll almost crashed out. Sainz incident ended what was a very positive day for Ferrari as Charles Leclerc was P2 in FP2 and Sainz was 1st in FP1.
But what about Mercedes as they ditch the zero pod approach for more conventional side pods, has this re energised them and will they now win? Well probably not but Lewis Hamilton certainly found the updates a big improvement. George Russell on the other hand did struggle a little bit more and Fernando Alonso once again had a very consistent day. I will be talking about all of this and more in my video.
