The Italian Grand Prix at Monza is over and Ferrari and Charles Leclerc took victory as Mclaren failed to really make a dent in Red Bull and Max Verstappen as Lando Norris only closed the gap by 8 points and going now onto Baku for the Azerbaijan Grand Prix, Ferrari and Charles Leclerc will be carrying the confidence that they can compete again as the circuit has been historically strong for Leclerc especially over one lap. Carlos Sainz struggled a little bit more than his teammate but in general Ferrari are looking strong. Lando Norris and Oscar Piastri will be looking to try and nail the race weekend as they will likely be stronger than Red Bull and Verstappen once again and Mclaren could take the lead of the constructors championship but they will have to change Papaya rules to mean Norris must beat Piastri.
For Mercedes they were clearly the third fastest as Lewis Hamilton and George Russell didn't really have an answer for Ferrari or Mclaren and I can see Baku being the same.
Baku has become a modern classic track on the calendar as the circuit features tight and technical corners with some high speed corners and close walls with long straights. The race is known for incidents happening at any moment which can change the face of the race.
