Qualifying for the United States Grand Prix in Texas is over and it is Lando Norris in the Mclaren on pole position as he edged out Max Verstappen who could not improve due to George Russell in the Mercedes crashing bringing qualifying to an early end. Lando arguably out performed the car and its capabilities with this but even though he is on pole for the grand prix, the race will be very difficult to hold off Max Verstappen as Red Bull look like they have fixed any issues that they may have had.
Ferrari were also looking improved as Charles Leclerc and Carlos Sainz both had a solid day and are lining up on row 2, Oscar Piastri in the Mclaren has a lot of work to do and looks to be struggling as the Mclaren upgrades don't look like they have provided the performance that they were hoping for, instead is looks as if it has taken away some of the advantage that they previously held. Lewis Hamilton in the other Mercedes had a shocking day and will be starting at the back of the field after being out qualified by Bottas in the Sauber.

Circuit of the Americas is the race that brought F1 back to the United States in 2012 and has been a massive success as it looks to now be the home of F1 in America, The circuit produces fantastic races year in and year out and has become a modern classic over the years. The circuit is punishing on tyres and can be very bumpy.
