F1 2024 Las Vegas GP Qualifying Analysis

Qualifying for the Las Vegas Grand Prix is over and George Russell and Mercedes have managed to convert Practice pace to pole position pace as Mercedes takes pole while the other Merc made mistakes and is P10 but what did we learn. Well in this video I am going to be taking a look at the data and doing an analysis from qualifying. Yes Lewis Hamilton made two mistakes and will be starting the Las Vegas GP from 10th place.
For Red Bull then as I said in my practice video they have gotten the rear wing wrong as they are still the slowest cars in a straight line. Overnight as I said they would they have modified the wing as much as they could to reduce the drag and improve their straight line speed but it is still lacking. That being said Max Verstappen did an incredible job once again and finds himself in 5th place on the grid whereas Sergio Perez did an amazing job to go out in Q1.
For Ferrari then it was a front row for Carlos Sainz but the old power unit Charles Leclerc has is potentially costing him a bit of time down the straight but that being said Ferrari are in an incredible position to have both cars on the podium in the grand prix and I think even win the grand prix.
Finally for Mclaren they are not going to be satisfied with this result as Norris is 6th and Piastri is in 8th place but I think they should be in a good place for the race provided Norris can get the car off of the line. Alpine have also done an incredible job as Pierre Gasly did an amazing job to get the Alpine to third on the grid
Las Vegas is the newest race on the calendar in the United States and it see's the cars drive around some famous Las Vegas landmarks such as the Sphere and they drive down the world famous Las Vegas strip going past some of the most iconic Casinos and Hotels in the world.
