The United States Grand prix at the Circuit of the Americas is over and it was domination from Ferrari as it was a 1-2 with Charles Leclerc winning from Carlos Sainz and Max Verstappen finished in third but had another incident with Lando Norris in the Mclaren. Now F1 is moving onto Mexico for the Mexican Grand Prix at the Autodromo Hermanos Rodriguez and the question is can Ferrari make it another win and get in the fight with Mclaren and Red Bull in the constructors championship. Sergio Perez in the Red Bull will be looking to recover after having another terrible race and his home race would be the perfect place for him to recover. Lando Norris will be looking to try and win the race after a disappointing weekend where he lost ground in the championship against Verstappen. Oscar Piastri had a bit of a poor race where he was lacking pace and was virtually non existent and will be looking to have a better race.
In Mexico the midfield battle will be as tight as ever and I anticipate that we will see VCARB having a strong race as Honda tend to have a bit of an advantage at this circuit. Mercedes had a good recovery race with George Russell but Lewis Hamilton had a shocking race where he went out very early. What will happen in Mexico, well in this video I will be giving out my thoughts and predictions
The Autodromo Hermanos Rodriguez in Mexico is in terms of altitude the highest race of the year where we see the teams reach Monza level speeds despite running with Monaco levels of downforce, this is because the higher altitude leads to there being less drag and also the cars produce a lot less downforce.
