In this Factorio episode, we build yet another 250 science per minute factory, bringing use one away from our goal of 2K science per minute.

We start off the episode in the previous science factory we built, having discovered that it isn't actually producing items. Apparently as it was built, some rocks that the bots destroyed left behind stone were some belts were to be placed. the belts were placed before the stone was picked up, leasing the stone to block some machines that were building parts for the satellites. This lead to the rocket never being launched, causing no spaces science leading to no research and all the other sciences being backed up.

So we clear up the blockage and watch the rocket launch, and see that the science production is getting back on track. We then head off to build the next science factory. We pick a spot in the south east of the area we have cleared, put down the blueprint and call in the supply trains to let the bots go to work.

We are running out of good ore patches in the area we previously cleared, but there are barely enough for one more science factory. The main issue is stone. There are a few stone patches, but no really decently sized ones. We do build on a 12 million patch, but that is about 1/3 the size of the iron, copper and coal patches we have available.

We build the rest of the mines in a time lapse, as we have built many of those before. As we finish up with the mines, the factory gets completed to a usable state, with all the assemblers, furnaces, belts and inserters in place, with just the beacons and modules left to place. So we set up the trains and get them running to bring in materials as the bots finish up construction of the factory.

Next episode we will have to go exploring to find some new ore patches to mine and to locate a place to make our next science factory.
