Factorio Mega Map #023
2I started a new series with me playing factorio as the new version (0.13) came out. They brought out many improvements with this new version. You see the gameplay at 3x speed so it should not get boring.
And the goal of this new series? I want to build the biggest base with the highest production, the longest railway tracks, the highest energy demand - a mega map.
In this video I continued to set up more solar panels and accumulators. There was not only less electricity but also coal. So I looked for the coal resources nearby and brouhgt the coal, mined by electric mining drills, to the base by transport belts.
The sorting machine worked really well and so I coul look for more copper ore and iron ore. Later a lot of copper ore and iron ore will be brought to the sorting station from the train station by transport belts. On my way I repaired some laser turrets and checked the walls.
At the end I started to melt copper plates to steel plates in the north and brought the steel down to the base by transport belts.

Factorio is a fantastic game in which you set up your own factory and survive on a far away planet. You need to mine resources and defend against aliens.
The map is infinite just as the factories you can build.
