This is a casual playthrough of Fallout 3, Karma decisions will be made according to what I feel is right.

Besides the main story and side-quests, there are also some smaller tasks you can do for small, sometimes repeatable rewards. Some of these tasks can occur after completing a quest in a certain matter, others you have to discover yourself by talking to people and exploring.

For the most part I'm just going to focus on the main story and sidequests, leaving the optional tasks for side videos, but if the task in question is very worthwhile I may end up showing it in the main video. Fixing the pipes for Walter will give you an opportunity to give him Scrap Metal for 10 Caps each, it may not be allot but Scrap Metal is very commonly found while exploring and can be found in bartered for cheap due to its low value, so you can easily make a good amount of caps buying any Scrap Metal you can find and giving it to him. Alternatively you can give them for free to get Good Karma.

We also disarm the nuke in Megaton which lands us with a house in town, the house allows you to store your items without fear of losing them, you may also buy special upgrades which gives various of benefits like workbench for crafting or chemstation for occasional free chems and free addiction cure. As you can imagine, if we blew up Megaton by working with Mister Burke (the man we killed last time) then we would get a home in a different place, but since I killed him there is little point in doing that.


On this part, we get ourselves blown up several times, drink lots of radioactive pond water and use a stick to blow up the heads of mole rats.
