There is a lot of info to cover &, much like the Starlight Drive in sign, I'm feeling burned out & decided to put out this vid as it stands. I know I glazed over a few details and I will make some additional videos that go more in depth on the techniques. There are several links below to other builders who inspired creative or technical details to make this work. Please visit their channels.

**INSPIRATION**

The idea came from the flickering fluorescent lights in Monster Barbell's incredible Barter Town vid.

**4 DIFFERENT FLICKER EFFECTS**

I tried to show multiple effects you can achieve with different timing. I went to the extreme to make sure they were noticeably different. I'm not 100% happy with the timing.

0:09 (Flicker on) I envision Piper and Nat sneaking around at night & messing with the Diamond City Surplus sign but alas there is no "Supplies" on that sign so I guess it will remain a dream... These lights are probably off too much and could benefit from some additional flickering. I used Draco Invictus' trick to brighten the intensity of some of the flickering letters.

0:23 (Flicker off & chase effect) These lights are on too much but I wanted to illustrate the difference. I used Draco's trick in the opposite way with the good letters glowing slightly brighter. The Girls Girls Ghouls chasing light effect comes from Checkers Prefect with an additional flash added so all three words illuminate together. 9:45 I accidentally used an older video clip where the GGG timing was off. I noticed this too late.

0:34 (Burned out and Homemade letters) Always off achieves much of the same look & feel of flickering with less work. The homemade "N" was built with a V & a couple I's. I debated removing the V & E from DRIVE to make it appear those letters were scavenged into an N but decided against it.

0:44 (Infinite spark) Limmy has a tutorial on this. [link below] Heads up.. READ HIS WARNING! Once you decide to lock it in it becomes permanent! My spark is not permanent because I followed his warning. It's possible to bury the spark into the wall and lower it's brightness which would make the N's flicker show better. Some alternatives to the spark are to glitch in a strobe or cycling light.

**CONDUITS AND RADIATORS**

1:11 Originally I was not aware that their power radii differed . It's much harder to isolate single letters with the conduit. The radiators are easier but they can't be rug glitched like the conduit can. Another option with a small radius & the ability to be rug glitched, when attached to furniture, is the blue switch but it's large and harder to hide. The conduits & radiators can be placed behind, in front, below, above, left, right or any combination depending on the environment. Pillar glitching the flickering letters closer or further from the wall can make it easier to isolate them.


**HIDING CONDUITS AND WIRES**

I will upload a vid showing some methods and ideas shortly.

**FLICKER CIRCUIT**

2:41 There are probably easier methods but this is how I figured it out. I've also seen some mechanical circuits that are probably more random (I think Monster Barbell used one). I'll post a link to Werty Perty that shows one. My basic circuit is interval switch then delayed on followed by delayed off. I'll make several of these each with different timing until I get the effect I like. You can also adjust the timing by stacking delayed on switches 1/4+1/8 =3/8 is an example. I'd post more info but I'm running out of characters that youtube allows in descriptions so I'll have to make a follow up vid of this technique.

**HIDING THE CIRCUIT**

9:09 Once hidden you can fish it back up using the post or you can use the under the map glitch.

**OTHER INFO**

9:30 In addition to anything named conduit the power counter, interval switch, and blue wall switch all emit power so watch where you set them.
