Famitracker Bits Originals - A Boss Offensive
3Now that the Smash hype has somewhat subsided for me, let's back to whatever "routine" I have with this new Famitracker Bits Original.
"A Boss Offensive" is, as you would guess, a track that would fit in a gaming boss battle. It doesn't take that long to loop, only about 15 frames of loop (at a tempo of 225 with a 6/8 beat, that's pretty short). However, I wanted to make it sound awesome with instruments that sounded like bass, solo guitar, and NES organ(?), so for the purpose of making it work in Famitracker I used only the Nintendo MMC5 expansion chip. Also I feel like I went overboard with the drums, hehe.
Also I do believe this is the first track that's not a remix done for Famitracker Bits. If I had to compare this song to another, I'd say this sounds like a mix between a Pokemon GSC boss theme and Ridley's song (or the Mission Impossible theme, those songs sound so similar).
Nothing much to say about this otherwise.
