Well here we are again. It's always been such a pleasure.

Remember when I tried to adapt Moonrise's 'Lunar March' and 'Harmony Restored' to 8-bit?

...well I'm doing it again. Because why not?

Notes:
As with 'Lunar March' and 'Daybreak/Harmony Restored' in the last video, the song used the Konami VCR6 sound expansion chip. Unlike last time, all three minutes make up the song from start to finish. Like, holy CRAP this was a long 'un. 31 frames of song bits for a prelude to a long-as-crap song.

I noticed that the intro "Celestia's Theme(?)" could work as the stereotypical title theme for an early NES game, and used percussion to back that up.

Unfortunately because A) I'm lazy and B) Famitracker's frame structure does not allow for different rows per frame I had to screw with the flow of the original song. It's pretty noticeable with the beginning strumming and about half-way through the song where the NES native pulses acted as a piano/bell/glockenspiel.

Outside of that, I started messing with a tom-type of sound using the triangle, which I used just before the half-way point ("GLORIA! GLORIA!").

One goal I tried to keep was to keep the song as note-accurate as possible - a lot of this was written by ear, but for some parts I wasn't sure about I used a Rock Band adaptation of the song to clarify certain notes. I think I did a pretty good job keeping the notes accurate this time around, but please, don't hesitate to let me know in the comments if I messed up somewhere.

Also, I can't help but notice this in Moonrise overall, and I dunno if anyone here feels the same, but the intro letimotif ("Celestia's Theme(?)") sound extremely similar to the letimotif of Disney's Fantasmic, especially during the beginning and end sequences. The songs are very different in tone overall, though, but it just feels like they're similar in structure.

Again, kudos to The L-Train9000 for making an incredible symphonic metal suite.
