EDIT 9/22/14: Apparently YouTube killed the music quality. Also you can see the PowerDirector text on the screen, so...yeah, more on that later in the description.

Okay, so I have to give serious props to Jake Kaufman (virt) for creating an incredibly versatile soundtrack for this game. Whether it's a 2spooky track such as 'The Donor's Despair', a darkly catchy tune like 'La Danse Macabre', or simple, lovely melodies such as 'Requiem of Shield Knight' and 'No Weapons Here', virt proved that he is fully able to create incredible themes despite using NES sound limitations. This also means it's somewhat difficult for me to adapt them all to Zelda ALTTP's soundfont (in the case of techno-esque music such as 'Flowers of Antimony' and 'Of Devious Machinations).

Here, we have the Inner Struggle, which plays in Ascension - Tower of Fate. As the Bard mentions, what is supposed to play is a timpani for the ongoing march. However, that was not entirely evident in 8-bit. Zelda III had the timpani sound, so I decided to use that.

Trumpets, Flutes and Strings are used for the main parts of this song, and the former is used in the trumpet roll that transitions from end to loop. Harp is used as a backing instrument, and Piano is used as a form of bass.

I tried to convey, in 16-bit, that the stage this music played in was nearing the end. I hope I succeeded.

As always, all soundfonts were from Zelda: A Link to the Past, and I used a total of six channels (seven counting the delay effect).

On a side note: as you can tell by the video, I made the 'video' file in PowerDirector. Full disclosure, I fluctuate between using PowerDirector and Windows Movie Maker when uploading remixes as videos. PowerDirector outputs them with higher quality sound, but is a pain in the ASS to work with (in my opinion), while WMM is easier to work with, but butchers the audio quality even before YT is involved. It's a no-win situation, but both get the job done, but in case you were wondering, this is actually the case. Just bear with me here.
