Gameplay of Far Cry 4 on a Ryzen 5 2600 and an RTX 2060, using RivaTuner Statistics Server to display info on the top of the screen. Short clip of random gameplay and the trippy Advanced Chemistry mission where I simp for Amita, shoot some guy on the face with a shotgun and then get high on opium. What a ride.

Resolution is set to 3840x2160; graphical settings are mostly max aside from Geometry, and GameWorks Effects are turned off: Ambient Occlusion is set to SSBC, Anti-Aliasing is set to SMAA, Godrays is set to Volumetric Fog. The game runs exclusively on the DirectX 11 API. The RTX 2060 has received an overclock of +74 Core Clock and +418 Memory Clock.

Unfortunately, a stable 4K60 isn't possible without sacrificing visual fidelity, even with an overclock. Running the game at 1800p would probably do it. Still, for a 6 year old game, Far Cry 4's environments look surprisingly good, although the character models are definitely showing their age.

Far Cry 4 is also extremely intensive on single-thread performance, which is why I set Geometry to Low... Though that doesn't really matter at 4K since the 2060 simply can't run the game fast enough for the Ryzen 2600 to bottleneck it like at 1080p and 1440p. For 1080p/1440p high framerate gaming, you'll want something like AMD's 3000 or 5000 series or Intel's Gen 8 and later CPUs.
