Fast and the Furious...ON BIKES!
42Torque was Joseph Kahn’s first feature film but by the time he was brought in in 2002 he had already directed a long, long list of iconic and/or groundbreaking music videos including Everybody (Backstreet’s Back). Around the same time that Torque was released Kahn’s music video for the song Toxic by Britney Spears also dropped and both have the same over the top energy and wild CGI fueled camera work…oh and both have handsome Kiwi Martin Henderson who now plays the older but still handsome but also broken male lead in the will-they won’t they drama series Virgin River.
Matt Schulze who plays the bad guy in Torque also plays Dom Toretto’s homeboy Vince in The Fast and the Furious and Fast 5
Biker Boyz was filmed around the same time (sometimes the two sets were only miles or days apart) but that movie beat Torque to release and so Warner Bros opted to delay the release of their biker movie much later.
