Athos joins the team for the final chapter, and it’s a good thing because he is easily the strongest unit of the run. He has the 5th highest HP, and for every other stat (except Con), he is ranked first or second. It’s particularly true for his 30 Mag (Harken has 23 Str) and 28 Res (Renault has 18 Res). I gave him my second Body Ring so that he now has 19 AS with Luna and 20 AS with any lighter weapon.

The final chapter is basically a boss rush, with 6 rooms that will open one by one each turn (or I can open them myself), and each room contains 2 or 3 high level enemies. It’s important to know for who among my units can clear each of these rooms without Nils’ help. At this point, I can only rely on Athos, Harken, Vaida, Jaffar and Pent to deal significant amount of damage, so my offensive options are really limited.

- Top left : Kenneth, with a Bolting/Fimbulvetr Sage and a scary 52 Atk Druid, the 3 of them have high accuracy. This room opens on turn 2, and the Bolting!Sage is a real threat who must be killed on player phase. Athos is the only unit who can survive both the Druid and Kenneth (Renault can also with a +7 Res from Barrier/Pure Water, but he deals little to no damage).
- Middle left : 52 Atk/18 AS Brendan and a Silver Axe/Bow!Warrior. Harken, Renault and Athos can take one hit from Brendan, but nobody can tank the Warrior in addition. Jaffar has 50% chance of dodging Brendan too.
- Bottom left : Runesword!Jerme and Ursula, both with 19 AS. I have no Javelin user with 16 AS or higher, so Jerme is tricky to kill with his sustain.
- Top right : Lloyd and Linus. What a joke. Lloyd can double literally anyone, and with his massive 43 Atk and high accuracy (not even taking into account his A support with Linus), he ORKO everyone except Vaida. At least their room opens on turn 6, so I have time to plan it.
- Middle right : Darin and a General. An easy room if you compare it to the others, the only issue is Darin’s high defensive stats.
- Bottom right : Uhai and 2 Snipers. Like Linus, Uhai can ORKO pretty much everyone, except Vaida (with the Delphi Shield obviously) and Jaffar (because he doesn’t double him), but his room is open as soon as turn 1, and a 8 Move bow user is scary. The good point is that he doesn’t have any 1 range weapon.

Harken, Jaffar, Vaida and Pent are deployed for their damage output. Renault took another slot, thanks to his ability to do cheap damage with Purge and to heal multiple people with a 6 staff range (allowing him to heal Athos, Jaffar and Vaida at once), since Pent is already busy. Heath is here as a supporting unit, his 10 Move allowing him to open Brendan’s door on first turn without putting himself at risk. The last slot must be a mounted unit (for the fire dragon strategy) strong enough to fight one Sniper and deal damage to Uhai, and interestingly, Marcus is the best of my remaining units to do so. Among the Lords, it’s worth noting Eliwood’s contribution with his 22 Might sword.

Also, did you know that 5+3+28x4=120 ? Because that’s really convenient for a highly reliable strategy against the fire dragon. And what is even better is that if one of the first two attacks miss, I can go for a backup strategy Eclipse+Luna+Luna, which will kill the dragon if Eclispe hits (39% Display/31% True) OR if one of the Luna crit (13% crit).

Overall CoS : ~25%
